What’s new:

  • More tools for additional disks: Browse, Create disk shortcut.
  • New “Options” allows to choose/change UI language and enable/disable log files
  • Now by default Rohos doesn’t write log files for troubleshooting purposes
  • Improvements in “Connect Disk” dialog
  • Minor fixes and UI improvements in main window
  • Fixed Autorun feature. Now Rohos correctly runs shortcuts with command line options.

Tesline-Service Announces Rohos Logon Key v.1.7.2 for Mac

Rohos Disk Encryption v.1.3

We are glad to announce Rohos Disk Encryption v.1.3 release. Now Rohos Disk Encryption is independent from some Rohos Logon Key settings, e.g. USB key choise, and also the program has data backup reminder if the password protected part is located on a USB flash drive.

What’s new:

  1. USB key settings are independent from Rohos Logon Key. Upon choosing new USÐ’ key it immediately comes into effect.
  2. There is new module in the program – “Rohos Disk service”, it’s in charge of disk’s autonomous operation (e.g., upon PC shutdown Rohos disk will be disconnected only after all other programs have  stopped using the encrypted disk).
  3. Convenient display of several connected Rohos disks in the program’s Main Window. Now additional disks could be easily checked for errors, it’s easy to create a backup copy of encryption keys and even to restore them.

New Mini Drive with 2 GB encrypted partition

We are glad to announce Rohos Mini Drive v.1.3 release. Now Rohos Mini Drive allows to have up to 2 GB secure partitions and includes data backup reminder if the password protected part is located on a USB flash drive.

Rohos Face Logon is not compatible with Rohos Logon Key, thus if you’d like to try Rohos Face Logon please, uninstall Rohos Logon beforehand!

Especially for YubiKey users Tesline-Service would like to announce Rohos Disk v.1.30 beta release. Now you may securely access your encrypted partition just by one touch. Nice and easy!

YubiKey benefits in Rohos Disk:

  • No need to re-program YubiKey in static mode; both YubiKey configurations are supported
  • Rohos Disk allows to authenticate YubiKey OTP against any server (Yubico server settings included)
  • Also there is an option to enter YubiKey’s AES key so Rohos Disk could decrypt and verify it locally

If you re-programed YubiKey in a static password mode, you can also use it in Rohos Disk.

Rohos Logon Key v.1.6 (Mac)

We announce Rohos Logon Key v.1.6 (Mac) beta with a few improvements:

  • Fixed bug when password contains space ” “and comma “,”
  • Fixed bug with Bluetooth logon when Rohos Logon locks desktop right after USB key setup
  • Improved OFF function – when there are no USB key inserted all USB Keys will be removed from Rohos Logon
  • Added global Autostart item for Rohos Logon. Now after installation Rohos Logon icon will be active in all user accounts

Rohos Logon Key 1.5.2 for Mac

Here are new Rohos Logon Key v1.5.2 for Mac OS X.

It includes new features in Preferences pane:

  • Allow to log in only with USB Key. If this option is ON then regular password based logon dialog box will be disabled and covered with a half-transparent Rohos Icon. To log in you need to have USB Key. No emergency logon is enabled here except safe mode boot.
  • Password protect application, if it is ON then you need to pass system authentication window (to get Admin rights) to modify settings or access Rohos main window.

Some things were improved:

– installation script and now it installing all Rohos items (logon bundle, autostart item)
– Add USB Key function now would not ask for a password so many times
– Case-sensitive file system support, thanks to users reports.

Also, now it is possible to set up USB Keys on any other Server Mac, but you will need to manually copy Rohos *.k files into /Applications/.rohos folder on client Mac. We are still working under server-based usage of Rohos.
